What an absolute triumph of hospitality! From the moment one glides through the doors, it’s clear this establishment is a cut above. The staff—efficient, courteous, and possessed of that rare charm—attend to every need with the precision of a Swiss timepiece. The evening repast? Superb. Each dish a masterpiece, served with just the right flourish. And then, breakfast—ah, breakfast! A veritable feast, enjoyed whilst gazing upon the lake, the rising sun painting the water in hues of gold. One could hardly imagine a more splendid start to the day. But let us not overlook the pièce de résistance—the chef’s Spanish omelette! A culinary marvel so exquisite, I daresay it stands as the finest in all of Africa. Fluffy, perfectly seasoned, and crafted with the kind of finesse that would make a Madrid abuela nod in approval. Even the quarters exceeded expectations—generously upgraded to a superior room, no less. The receptionists, models of professionalism, handled every request with unflappable grace. In short, a hotel that not only meets but surpasses the mark. Bravo!

Mantis Lodge exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location and the exceptional service. The rooms are beautifully designed, offering incredible comfort and breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The lodge's location within Akagera National Park is simply unbeatable – we were able to spot wildlife right from our balcony! The only minor drawback is the high price, but honestly, it's worth every penny for the unparalleled experience and the extraordinary location. If you're looking for a truly special stay in Akagera, Mantis Lodge is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The room, the bed was so comfortable, it was really luxury 5 stars The staff was outstanding , Giovanni at the reception was so helpful, kind, and really knew how to treat the guests and make them feel special The pool was really nice and the views were spectacular At the pool bar we had a fun time with the bartender and the fireplace lit every night made the ambience magical The food also was really good and the fresh pineapple juice was really really good .

We stayed in this lodge for one night. The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. The place was quiet and peaceful because it is within the Akagera National Park. We had a superb dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.

Everything here was perfect, the rooms had all facilities you can ask for, clean confortable and very quiet. It is located inside the Akagera park, so searching for wildlife is just perfect as long as you are inside the park. Breakfast and dinner had a great option and the staff was wonderful throughout. There is a pool overlooking the lake and the border with Tanzania and at night the set fire to sit around and enjoy a drink in a campsite looking area. I will be back here, this is what you need after a full day of exploring the park to relax and recharge . Loved it.
